…if you’re going to get mad at the publisher
One month after saying I was going to write more, here goes. This one has been in my head for a while, but I never could quite put words exactly to my idea. So this is a little more “stream of consciousness” than usual. Something that I have never understood is people getting mad at a platform/publication for their “opinion” content. It seems to me that most people gloss over the word opinion in the very section in which they are clicking or the very article that they are reading.

It’s been quite the seven-and-a-half months for me personally. Lots of ups and downs, lessons learned, and introspection. One of those “if you know, you know” kind of things, but I’m sure I’ll spill the beans on part of 2024 at some point. Long story short, I want to start writing more. I’m thankful to my past self for setting up a platform on which I can do that. One of the things that I have learned about myself this year is that I tend to undervalue my opinions and ideas, relative to other people (and their valuation of their own ideas and opinions).
